ZA Bursaries

Bursaries South Africa provides you with numerous bursaries for specific fields and purposes.

The Western Cape Government

Offers bursaries for students to study at universities in the Western Cape. These include the University of Cape Town (UCT), Stellenbosch University (SU), or Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), and the University of the Western Cape (UWC). National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS)

Bursaries cover the financial costs for a student’s studies at any South African public universities or colleges.

Funza Lushaka Bursary Programmes

Apply to selected undergraduate and postgraduate students who will complete a teaching qualification in priority areas. Recipients of these bursaries will be required to teach at a public school for the same number of years that they received the bursary.
For the Undergraduate Programme, undergraduate students will study towards a 4-year Bachelor of Education degree (B Ed), in Foundation Phase, Intermediate Phase, Senior Phase and FET Phase.
